I have been painting ever since my father beckoned me into his studio. A more candid look into my journey as an artist discovering color and composition. My paintings reflects on the inner workings of mankind's mind. Symbolism inspired from my Pueblo Indian heritage is relevant throughout my work. I am currently painting new work so this gallery is always being updated.
SANTO SANTO SANTO SANTO
Four times and it is blessed.
Death in holiness. We share death with all that is living.
We are born out of fire, dirt, light, darkness and melded in water.
Birthed into a world already dying.
Dead with the wind, ashes to ashes.
Within us dwell these Santos.
The Santos Rojos: from the blood of all that has gone on before us.
We live with these Santos, and I’m learning to listen to them.
Seeing the evil that also inhabits us, I choose to not give power to it and call it a burden.
The fears and insecurities allow and nurture creativity and knowledge to spring forth.
From the sacred knowledge we seek what is truth and move forward, Light years from now these Santos will still breathe life into more Living things. Ghosts within the body and mind of us all.
The blood, the red blood, under those rocks,
Under those trees,
Under that earth,
In the ground mixed with all in the past and soon to be the present and beyond the future.

Weddings by Birds at Sunrise
A fleeting moment seen through my viewfinder. Moment is what I aim to capture on your wedding day. I also look to show off the love between two people coming together at a very special time. Like the early morning, sing with the Birds at Sunrise.
The two most important things I think that you should consider when hiring a professional to shoot your wedding is: experience and the style. Before I started shooting weddings I worked weddings as banquet server in the past as well as being in close contact with wedding planners. Knowledge of how a wedding itinerary works as well as anticipation of those special moments is key. Style is something I have spent years developing. I have always tried to shoot every wedding as if it were my own. I shoot film at every wedding, along with digital, to get a unique look and I believe the medium of film lends itself to a timeless artifact of your day. I am confident in the images that I will create on your special day. Wedding packages include a free portrait session for you to see for yourself!
