Lift up those around you and tell them you love them. Mean it. Be in that moment and hold onto it for as long as you can because you never know when that moment will just be a memory that haunts you.
"Look west my girl,
The light touches the ocean as it comes up over the hills.
The air is cold and my legs are weary.
The road brought me you and the road has taken you away.
Golden watches stop but this moment ticks on.
Be like the birds and fly home,
Pull me back down, down, down.
To the depths of that darkness for awhile.
That black, that you can not see,
Obsidian and full of energy.
Who am I?
Who am I to you?
Who am I for you?
You laugh like you've never been lonely.
You love like I will be there to hold you.
Endless is never and forever is not the end.
The stars know more than us.
The moon stamped on our arms.
The ink lingered in my blood.
These arms held you,
These arms reached out to you.
The mind is endless.
The heart is a clock.
Look west, sunshine.
See the dawn of your new life.
Forever changed and haunted I will stay.
Until, I learn to live without"

Feelings captured in a black box below. Light to celluloid. I'll be someone someday and maybe that scares me and you.
I never liked my poetry.
Until next time I find some free time to write and continue this blog,
